Hi there, I'm Amy, a visionary artist behind the lens. MY STORY
I have been taking photos ever since I was a preteen and the cool thing to do was put on your best combat boots and circle scarf with your bestie and have a full on three hour photoshoot in your front yard. Luckily my photography and fashion style has evolved, but the love of capturing the real moments in life has stayed the same. When I was finishing high school, I won a raffle for some money which I used to buy my first camera which gave me the opportunity to really start learning the art behind taking high quality photos.
Everrgreen was kickstarted when I started traveling a few years later, as I was working on my degree online. It was during the infamous year of 2020 when I was living in South Korea and was lonely as could be since things were only semi open due to Covid. As I would go out and explore on my own, my camera quickly became my companion and was the way I captured what I was experiencing. I needed some place to put all these pictures I was taking and made an instagram, thus creating Everrgreen Photo.
My first paid session was a maternity session for some family friends in Korea and let me tell you, I was sooooo nervous. I kept telling myself that if they hated the photos, more like if I didn't like them, I would just give them the photos for free. But the session happened and not only did the photos come out great, I realized how special it was to be able to foster special moments for the couple during the shoot, which brought out all of the organic moments. With the ice broken of charging for sessions, I was officially off on creating the business I have today.
I love getting to tell peoples stories through images and have enjoyed how that has extended into both personal and business photography. I am now based in the PNW and building a network of amazing business owners, friends, and families all who have supported my business and growth of today. I cannot wait to see where the next few years bring Everrgreen photo and would love to get the ball rolling on working together if we haven't met!!
